Marcia Elizabeth Ridyard, age 75, of Vero Beach, passed away May 28, 2019 at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
She was born May 5, 1944 in New Haven, Connecticut.
Marcia had lived 44 years in Branford, CT prior to moving to Ft. Pierce, FL in 1988, eventually to Vero Beach.
Marcia had worked previously as Head Teller for New Haven Savings Bank while living in CT and had spent many years as bookkeeper for California Closets, Vero Beach.
She attended the 9.23 Community Center, Christ Church Vero Beach.
Marcia had served as a “Pink Lady” at the former Indian River Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Allan Ridyard; son, Brian (Tiffany) Ridyard; daughter, Kimberly (Donald) Corby; grandchildren, Katherine Ridyard, Michael Ridyard, Sierra Corby and Christian Corby; brother-in-law, James Ridyard and sister-in-law, Carol Garnett.
Marcia was predeceased by her parents, Marshall and Lois Woolson.
A Celebration of Life service will be held, 2 p.m., Saturday, June 22nd, 2019 at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Mrs. Ridyard, may be made to VNA Hospice of Indian River County, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
