Alice (Betty) Elizabeth Barcus 81, of Vero Beach Florida, died peacefully after an extended illness.
Betty was born to Thomas and Mary Meade on September 10, 1937 in Boston MA.
Betty was a homemaker lovingly raising her children and grandchildren.
She was an accomplished knitter and seamstress.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, David and her seven children, Patricia, William, Karen, Thomas, Carol, David and Susanne. Betty is the proud grandmother of 23 grand children and the great grandmother of 18 great grand children.
A memorial service will be held 3:30, Thursday, May 16th, 2019 at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, 1655 27th St., Vero Beach.
