I only have great memories of Uncle Ray. We went on a camping trip in 1987 with Ray and Joyce and Denny and Candace in 1986(ish) and had the best time. I rode in the RV with him, chatting while he smoked a hava-tampa jewel, and I grew to love the smell and I will always associate it with him. In 1996 Suzi and I drove down to Florida with her twin boys and he took us out to dinner for BBQ and was so sweet and gracious to us. I’m glad my dad got to take some casino trips with Uncle Ray in the last few years, they were best friends until the end.
