Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Sharon Lee Just, passed on April 16, 2024, at an assisted care facility in Vero Beach, Florida. She was 85.

Sharon was born in Martinsburg, WV to Phillip and Lydia Hollis, her treasured parents. She graduated from Central Dauphin High School in Harrisburg, PA and then attended community college. She was an active member of West Lawn United Methodist Church in Reading, PA. She raised three children, Kim (Mike), Keith (Ly) and Karen (Dave). Sharon was married to her loving husband, Frank Just. As a grandmother to Tony (Rachel) and Nolan and great grandmother to Elsa and Alice (Tony), she fully enjoyed spoiling all of them! She was also quite fond of her dear cousins, Susan Ettinger Euler and Karl “Buck” Ettinger.

Sharon was an executive secretary in telecommunications for many years with Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone in Richmond, VA. She was a member of the VA Speakers Bureau, and later started her own communications consulting business. Upon her retirement, Sharon relocated to FL.

With her giving nature, Sharon volunteered for multiple organizations over the years including: Special Olympics of VA; numerous PGA golf tournaments; and Citrus Memorial Hospital in FL. Sharon was the Committee Chairperson for a fashion show fundraiser with Sugarmill Woods Women’s Club. She was also a member of the Southern Woods Women’s Golf Club and loved swimming (ala Esther Williams), music, entertaining and helping people.

Sharon was known for her cheerful nature, kindness, tenacity and big heart, and she will be dearly missed. At her request, there will be no services, but she’d like us all to raise a glass and have a laugh in her memory. We ask all who wish to participate to donate to any Hospice or Alzheimer’s organization.

Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
