Joan A. Conforti, age 85, passed away peacefully on July 16th, 2024, in Vero Beach, Florida.
Joan was born in New York City, New York to Perry and Margaret Entenmann.
She was an avid book reader and enjoyed the simple things in life.
Joan was a member of the St. Helen’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years William Conforti; sons James Conforti of Dubuque, Iowa and Mark Conforti of Greenville, South Carolina; daughter Jane Saltz of Greenville, South Carolina; sister Margaret Meyer of Lady Lake, Florida; sister-in-law Marie Conforti of Vero Beach, Florida; and six grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday July 25th, 2024, at St. Helens Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital located at 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.

I’ve had the pleasure to know Joan and Bill for 17 years. 66 years of marriage is a true testament to the type of people they are. Joan will be missed by their family and many friends.

I’m so sorry to learn of my cousin Joan’s passing today. I had been trying to call her a few times lately with all the bad weather down there. Jim, I know how you feel I lost my husband 17 yrs ago. My oldest son in 2019 and my youngest in2021. my sister Susan who was Peggy’s Age June 3, 2022.
