The traditional funeral service may include the following:
Generally a member of the clergy conducts a service of remembrance. The family is encouraged to participate in the planning of the service as well. Many times family members take part by giving a reading, singing or assisting the clergy. If clergy is not present, family and friends may conduct the service as well.

The body is buried shortly after death with no viewing or visitation involved. No embalming is necessary. Direct burial usually costs less than the “traditional,” full-service funeral. Our charge includes professional service fee, initial transfer of the deceased from the place of death, no embalming, refrigeration, sanitary care of unembalmed remains, and transportation of deceased to cemetery.

Natural burial can also be referred to as green burial. There are three standards that define a natural burial: there must be no embalming, no use of a vault, and all burial containers, caskets, and shrouds must be biodegradable. In accordance to Florida statutes, we must select a cemetery that meets these requirements. It is the optimal choice for an individual who has a desire to limit one’s impact on the environment.
