Lori Lee Estrella, age 56, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 28, 1968 in Newport, Rhode Island.
Lori earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island and her master’s degree from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island.
She worked for the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Warfare Center for over nineteen years as a Scientist.
Lori is survived by her beloved husband, Jonathan Estrella; son, Dylan Estrella; and her mother, Eileen Palmer.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.

Jonathan, Dylan and Eileen. My deepest sympathy for the loss of your wife, Mother, Daughter. I work with Lori and enjoyed knowing her and remember the day she told me of her sickness. I’m amazed Lori survived cancer for so many years and hope that she enjoyed them peacefully and with love. I’m so sorry that most of her family and friends did not get a chance to spend it with her. Lori, I love you and hope that you spend the rest of your days surrounded by the infinite love and compassion of our Lord.
