George F. Kirchhoff, Jr., age 79, of Vero Beach, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017.
He was born September 15, 1937 in Great Neck, New York to parents George F. Kirchhoff, Sr. and Margaret Hession Kirchhoff.
He married Jo Ann Freer November 4, 1962 in Pleasant Valley, NY, where they resided until moving permanently to Vero Beach, FL in 1992.
Upon working 34 years with NY Telephone Co, he retired as a buildings manager.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jo Ann Kirchhoff; his brother, Thomas Kirchhoff; his nephew, Joseph (Andrea) Kirchhoff & children; and his 2 nieces, Susan (Alain) Kirchhoff and Mary (Jim) Albricht & their 2 sons.
A memorial service will be held at the St. Augustine Episcopal Church, Vero Beach at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
