Bob was born in Mason City, Iowa, on February 1, 1940, the first child of Howard and Elizabeth (Taylor) Treloar of Nora Springs, Iowa. For a number of years, Bob worked as a guard at the Vero Beach Museum of Art. He particularly enjoyed his early morning coffee group at Cravings.
