Rick John Kamataris, (60) of Sebastian Florida passed away n February 14, 2026 in Orlando Florida.
He leaves his wife Shari Lynn Johnson-Kamataris of 22 years and his beloved fur kids Finley and Peli-Cat.
Rick was born and raised in Leominster Massachusetts. He was a 1983 graduate of Leominster High School and worked for Bennis Corporation of Shirley MA for several years until relocating to Florida.
He was predeceased by his father Timothy Kamataris Sr., mother Lorraine Farinelli-Kamataris, brother Thomas Kamataris Sr., and sister Donna M. Kamataris- Becker.
Rick is survived by his wife Shari Lynn Johnson-Kamataris, sister Gail Kamataris-Prizio and husband Frank, brother Timothy Kamataris Jr. and wife Carol Kamataris, sister-in-law Donna Smith Kamataris wife of now deceased Thomas Kamataris Sr. and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Rick’s true passion was the game of golf, his home away from home. He loved to be on the links. He also cherished his childhood in Salisbury, Massachusetts, where he was always surrounded by family and friends. For 22 years, Rick shared his life with the love of his life, Shari Lynn. Together they built a wonderful life filled with love and laughter. In 2013, they relocated to Sebastia, Florida where they continued making cherished memories.
Rick’s remains will be cremated in Florida, and a Memorial Gathering in Massachusetts will be announced at a later date.
