The family of Marlene P. Brooks announces she has joined her husband David on their next beautiful adventure on the open seas, we will miss her.
Left on the shore to celebrate their reunion are her brother, Don Prather; her son, Richard Paden his wife Kim; his daughters, Whitney, Alaina, and son Evan Paden. Her son, Robert Stoddard; grandchildren, Aaron & Melinda Stoddard, Andrea & Ryan Evans, Kara & Geoffrey Stowe; great-grandchildren, Sabin Stoddard, Makenzie & Braden Evans, and Ava, Theo & Bennett Stowe. Her daughters, Lynne Crawford and husband Brian, Jo Brooks; grandchildren, Carl & Krista Greene, Travis Greene, Austin Greene; great-grandchildren, Emily & Ethan Greene. Grandchildren, Sharlene & Lou Dellavecchia, Allen & Susanna Dodd, Mathew & Katheryn Wiley, Crystal & Ryan Gibson, J.C. & Martha Rogers, Emily & Joe Sill; great-grandchildren, Chance & Victoria Simmons, Ryan, Evan, & Austin Dodd, Abel, Cyrus, Sabina, Liesl, Aspen, & Judah Wiley, Mary Elizabeth Rogers, Mason & Logan Sill; and great-great-grandchild, Grayson Simmons.
She was predeceased by daughter, Sandra Kay Watts.
She will be missed by her very special canine companion, Chessie.
Marlene retired from Domion Virginia Power where she was the past Commander of the Vero Beach Power Squadron. She enjoyed boating, travel, cooking, and spending time with family and her amazing friends. Marlene was blessed with so many wonderful friends and her family loves and appreciates each and every one of them. Her famiy would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at The Douglas Group and her extraordinary caregiver, Ronnie.
