I loved Art like my own father, and will miss him tremendously. I will also remember him as a true gentleman in every sense of the term.

Art is the last of my brothers of four leaving me, who was always considered to be the “quiet” one of the four. Always there to help out and never complaining about anything. He was a warm, caring , kind and generous man, who could brighten up my spirits just by smiling at me. He took half of my heart with him when he left. Love you Art until my last breath. Your little sister, Demetra

We are so sorry Kari. He was a wonderful guy. I remember how patiently he refinished your dining room table, cleaning every detail with toothpicks! An example of a life well lived ♥️

The best grandpa a girl could ask for. He loved his walks on the beach, Rita runs (or any sweet treat really), practicing his golf swing in the backyard and his shooting in the garage, picking lemons and bananas from his garden, telling funny stories, reading the newspaper in the morning with a cup of coffee, naps on his recliner, and a nice glass of scotch. He was the funniest guy alive and always had the best ideas (fun fact: he came up with the electric toothbrush before it actually became a thing). He loved making his own booze and getting the whole neighborhood drunk. He loved dogs and dogs loved him. I’ll miss swimming in the pool with him, marching to the beach together, reading the funnies in the morning, fishing off the dock, listening to him tell stories, and so many more memories.
