RICHARD WAYNE SALDANAH, age 70, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026, at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach. Richard was born March 25, 1956, in White Plains, New York to Bernard and Marion Saldanah (nee Meyers).
Richard was loved by all who knew him and will be remembered for his kindness, laughter, quiet strength and devotion to his family and friends. He loved boating, quadding, and golfing, but more than anything, his son, Anthony, who predeceased him, and was his whole world until the very end.
Richard is survived by his brother William Saldanah (partner Annamarie Sant); sister Christina Bivins (spouse Jason Bivins); nephew, David Saldanah; and niece, Dakota Beck, along with many friends.
Richard is predeceased by Bernard (Father), Marion (Mother), Blair (Brother) and Anthony (Son).
Celebrations of Life in Florida and New York are being planned and posted at a later date.
Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.

Sending love and prayers may he be walking with Jesus in the heavenly realm. In the short period of time I was blessed to have known Richie .My late fiancé needed a truck for a reasonable price. I went to see it and its a small world. Its funny how God plants people in your life . When i got his address to his Highland home its where my mom used to live. I could tell he was a good and honest man. Then I find out he knows some of my friends and that started our friendship. I friended him on social media and we’ve been good friends. We shared our good times and are hard times. I was blessed to hear he moved to a warm climate were he started to search for a Christian church and had many friends always involved in his community and church community he loved his furballs to come home to. He will be truly missed . We were meant to meet and I will miss our talks No more pain.. Happy Birthday Richie as spirt lives on.
