Darryl Joseph Stillman was born on November 21, 1983, in Daytona Beach, Florida, to Barbara Keady and Chuck Stillman. He passed away on September 25, 2026, in Vero Beach, Florida, at the age of 42.
Darryl graduated from Sebastian River High School and soon began his working life as a mail carrier with the United States Postal Service. He later transitioned into a career as an HVAC technician.
Darryl was surrounded by the love and support of his family and those closest to him. Although life was not always easy, he showed tremendous strength and perseverance through the challenges he faced. Family was at the heart of Darryl’s life. He especially treasured time spent with his children and took great joy in teaching them the things he loved. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, taking trips to North Carolina, sharing random history facts, listening to music, playing board games with his family, and gathering together for Sunday dinners. Some of his happiest moments were spent teaching his children how to fish and simply being together as a family.
Darryl was preceded in death by Courtney Stillman, the mother of his son Trevor, as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his parents, Barbara Keady and Chuck Stillman; his sister, April Rocker and her husband, Brandon; his children, Trevor, Rylee, and Tyler; Krysta Barrett, the mother of Rylee and Tyler; his nieces, Juliette and Naomie; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear family members.
Darryl leaves behind memories that will live on through his children, his family, and all those who knew and loved him. His humor, his knowledge, his love of the outdoors, and the time he shared with those closest to him will remain part of his family’s memories for years to come.
A celebration of Darryl’s life will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at 6065 57th Street, Vero Beach, Florida.
Family and friends are invited to come together to remember Darryl, share stories, and celebrate the life he lived and the love he gave to those around him.
