Let the family know you care by sharing this tribute.
Emma Amelia Pensch, aka Mimi was born January 11,1926 in Crosswicks, New Jersey and has been a resident of Vero Beach for over 60 years. She transitioned peacefully in her home on September 29, 2026, surrounded by her family. Emma passed away on her beloved late husband’s, John Pensch 100th Birthday. They were married for 49 years until his passing. No doubt there was quite the celebration in Heaven.
Emma “Mimi” was truly one of a kind – a woman with a heart full of love, gratitude and a strong faith in God that guided her throughout her one hundred and a half years of life. She lived her faith not only through her words and prayers, but through the way she loved and cared deeply for others.
Her gentle spirit, kindness and giving heart made everyone feel welcome. She lived for her family and friends and treasured every moment with the people she loved. Her family was her greatest joy, and she gave them a lifetime of unconditional love, wisdom, prayers and devotion.
Mimi also had a remarkable gift for making others smile and feel special by always leading with a compliment to anyone she crossed paths with, and by the end of the meet, she was “Mimi” to you too. Whether you knew her a lifetime or had only just met, you were made to feel like family.
Mimi’s kindness reached far beyond her home and touched countless lives through her love and deep connection to prayers. A century of life gave her countless stories, memories, laughter, challenges, and blessings. Through it all, she remained a beautiful example of what it means to be a true Christian woman filled with grace, compassion, and unwavering faith.
Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we are grateful for the incredible gift of having her in our lives. The example she set will continue through the family she cherished, the friends she made, and the countless lives she touched. Mimi hit a milestone, living one hundred years but the love she exemplified will last forever.
Survivors and predeceased include five generations: Her late husband of years Albert John Pensch, Chris and (Ramona) Pensch, Andrew and (Hannah) Pensch, Cannon Pensch, Graysen Pensch (Jared), Randy and the late (Doe) Pensch, Ryan and (Marissa) Pensch, Brock Pensch (Brooklyn), Barbara and the late (Mark) Gibbons, Tambi and (John) Cobb, Mali Cobb (Gabe), Marshall Cobb (Alana), Kristen and (Gary) Tohey, the late Landi Ohler, Mark and (Madigan) Ohler, Erin Ohler, Easton Ohler, Madison Ohler and (Joe), Maverick McIntyre.

Condolences to all the family. She was one of the most spiritually touched individual I have ever known. I have known her thru Barbara, Chris and Randy from when we were all school age growing up here in Vero Beach. I can only hope my faith can be as deep as hers. I am sure that Jesus met this woman with open arms when she went to heaven. We love you Mimi and we love your family. See you soon!

Emma was a lovely Christian woman with such a sweet, kind disposition. For many years, in my youth, we attended the same church, and I knew her children Barbara, Chris and Randy. She was involved and friends with my mother in the Women’s Missionary Council. I was fortunate to see her last year while visiting with Barbara, and we reminisced about old times. I know she’s having a reunion with Johnny and other loved ones, but an angel has definitely left us.
