Dorothy June Elsmore, 82 years old, passed away on March 19, 2016 at her home in Vero Beach, Florida surrounded by her family.
She was born in Dagenham, Essex, England to the late Robert and Olive Close.
Mrs. Elsmore was the founder of Elgin Marble, Inc. along with her husband, Ken Elsmore who passed away in 1996.
Dorothy is survived by daughter, Sue Davis of Vero Beach; twin granddaughters, Jenny Davis and Shellie Davis of Vero Beach; brother, Cliff Close of England; six nieces of both England and Canada.
She was predeceased by husband, Ken Elsmore; son, Robert Elsmore; and brother, Derek Close.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to VNA Hospice of the Treasure Coast, 1110 35th Ln, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
There will be a funeral service held 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2016 at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home, 1655 27th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery.
