Rhonda Hanson of Fort Pierce, Florida went home to be with her Lord Saturday, June 25, 2016.
Rhonda was born in 1961 in Detroit, Michigan to Chester and Jimmi Thrift. She married David Hanson in 1983. Rhonda was a member of Riverview Baptist Church of Fort Pierce, Florida. She loved her family, her church, and her Lord.
Rhonda is survived by her husband, David Hanson; one son, Joshua Hanson and his wife Christi; one daughter, April Hanson; her parents, Chester and Jimmi Thrift; two sisters Pam Copes and Lynn Jones; one grandson Sawyer Hanson; two brothers-in-law Jeff Copes and Ken Jones; one nephew Caleb Jones; and two nieces Victoria Copes and Faith Jones.
Viewing will be at Riverview Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2016.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2016 at Riverview Baptist Church, 4601 N Old Dixie Hwy. Fort Pierce, FL 34946. A graveside service will be held at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Scottsmoor, Florida at 2:30 p.m., Friday, July 1, 2016. Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home.
