Betty Anderson, age 96, passed away on August 19, 2016 at Indian River Medical Center.
She was born June 18, 1920 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Otto ad Antoinette Mesch. Ms. Anderson grew up in Ohio before her move to Miami Springs, FL. In 1999, she became a permanent resident of Vero Beach.
Ms. Anderson enjoyed traveling. After marrying her husband, they were able to travel all over the world. Some of her favorite destinations included Switzerland and Germany.
Betty was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and a volunteer at Harbor Branch and the Vero Beach Museum of Art.
She is survived by son, Jim Anderson; daughter, Evelyn Lepire; grandchildren, Beth Fleming, Michael Lepire, and Eric Anderson; great-grandchildren, Colin Anderson, Ewan and Grace Fleming.
There will be no services held at this time.
