Darlene Johnson, age 55, passed away on August 10, 2016 at Indian River Medical Center.
She was born on March 17, 1961 to the late Harold and Agnes Cheffer. Darlene grew up in Naples, Florida and moved to Homosassa, Florida with her husband and children in 1988.
Darlene was a graduate of Lely High School in Naples, Florida.
Survivors include spouse, Ruben Johnson; daughters, Winter Matos and Tiffany Burney; sister, Patty Ladolcetta; 4 grandchildren; beloved rescue, Cinnamon.
She was predeceased by brothers, Donald, Howard, and Harold Cheffer.
The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2016. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home, 1655 27th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960. At the request of the family, please wear red to celebrate the life of Darlene.
