Jane Hailey, 93, of Vero Beach, passed away on August 1, 2016 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
She was born on August 18, 1922 in Peoria, Illinois and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 64 years, coming from her birthplace.
Jane had worked in the customer service department of the City of Vero Beach for 38 years.
She was a member of Kings Baptist Church, Vero Beach.
She is survived by her three daughters, Jesse (Randy) Durkee of Vero Beach, Judy LaPorte also of Vero Beach, and Janie Morris of Washington; her son, Rex L. (Lynn) Hailey, Jr. of Vero Beach; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hailey was predeceased by her husband, Rex L. Hailey, Sr.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-4 p.m., with a 2 p.m. service to be held and dinner to follow, at Kiwanis Hobart Park, Pavilion #1, on Sunday, August 14th.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Dixie Oak Manor, 6410 Old Dixie Highway, Vero Beach, FL 32967.
