Heaven’s Band has a new member. Rick (Richard John Wheeler JR) passed away peacefully at his home on December 3rd. He was 74 years old.
Rick lived in Vero Beach with his wife Mary for 23 years. Rick and Mary enjoyed 53 years together. He retired from a 25 year career with Hallmark Cards.
His true loves were music and boating. He played thousands of gigs locally as well as across the country and Europe. He also loved teaching music which he did locally through Melody Music. Rick was a devoted member of St Sebastian Church. He graduated from Florida State University 1964. Boy did he love his Seminoles.
Rick is survived by his wife Mary, 2 sons, Paul and Rick, 3 grandchildren, Katie, Jacob and Charlie and his wonderful sister Suzanne. Rock on DaddyO! We all love you.
