Fred Petruchik, age 89, of Vero Beach passed away on January 12, 2015 at Indian River Medical Center.
Petruchik served in the United States Marines and participated in action against the enemy at Okinawa in 1945.
Fred was a member of the Northrop Grumman Retiree Club, Florida (Treasure Coast/Port St. Lucie) Chapter. He was a hard worker and always had time to share a joke when meeting new people.
He is survived by his daughters, Diane (Joe) DeLisi and Julie (Joe) Rogus; grandchildren, Kevin Archer, Jessica DiSilvestro, Justin Rogus, and Kayla Rogus.
Fred was predeceased by wife, Virginia Petruchik and daughter, Lisa Petruchik.
There will be a memorial service 10 am, Thursday, January 22, 2015 at St. Helen Catholic Church.
