Marguerite Hayes passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22nd 2015 aged nearly 89 years at Hospice House, Vero Beach, Florida. Her birthday would have been on March 1st. She is survived by her daughter Kitty Kennedy and her son-in-law Stuart Kennedy.
She was born in New York City to William Ahearn and Anne Hayes. She also lived in upstate New York, Washington D.C. and Sarasota, Florida. Throughout her life as a wife, daughter and mother she worked to support her family and had an untiring capacity to search and find the truth in any situation.
Marguerite was a strong and brave woman who had many interests and skills and will continue to be remembered by many people who keep her within their hearts.
She moved from Upstate New York to Vero Beach in 2005.
There will be a Celebration of her Life on Thursday, March 5th at 11:00am at Thomas Lowther Funeral Home, 1655 27th St, in Vero Beach followed by a reception.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VNA Hospice House, (1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960).
