Frank T. Pascarelli, 83, of Vero Beach, peacefully passed away on March 17, 2015 at Willowbrook Court in Indian River Estates.
He was born February 21, 1932 in Mineola, NY, to parents Frank and Sadie Solamento Pascarelli.
Frank graduated from Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y. in June of 1954 with a BA in Psychology. Although he did not enter the field of psychology, he always said that he used what he learned every day in his retail management and sales career.
Shortly after his graduation from Hofstra, Mr. Pascarelli married his high school sweet heart Nancy and entered military service in the United States Army.
After basic training he was stationed in Frankfurt Germany during which time his wife joined him to live in Germany and his first son Paul was born.
After his military service Frank and his family returned to the United States and settled on Long Island, NY at which time he started his 38 year career with Sears Roebuck and Company.
His second son Todd was born shortly after Frank was assigned his first management position at Sears in Bay Shore, NY.
After his retirement from Sears in 1992, Frank relocated to Florida with his wife and found his calling in retirement to be as a sales associate at Linus Automotive Group in Vero Beach.
Throughout his life, Frank was a devoted husband, father and mentor. His strong spirit to honor, loyalty and duty were a hallmark of his life. He was successful in his careers due to his caring spirit that he shared with all who came into contact with him.
Mr. Pascarelli is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nancy Louise Pascarelli; sons, Paul J. Pascarelli, Architect and his wife Terry of Atlanta, Georgia, and Todd D. Pascarelli, M.D. and his wife Pam of Mahwah, New Jersey, along with his granddaughters, Christina and Gabriella. Frank is also survived by his sister Grace Anderson of Key Largo, FL.
Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Sadie Solamento Pascarelli, his brothers John, Peter, Luke, Tom and sisters Edna and Frances.
A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Indian River Estates West, 7720 Indian Oaks Drive, Vero Beach, on Sunday, July 5th at 2 PM.
