Catherine Anne Whiteley, 74, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away on Saturday, March 14th, 2015 at St. Lucie Hospice House, Ft. Pierce.
Catherine was born February 10, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan.
She moved to Port St. Lucie in 1981, coming from Ferndale, Michigan.
Catherine worked at Sunshine Coin Laundry and Walgreens, but mostly she spent her life caring for her children, grandchildren, and the children of others.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Whiteley; children, Dennis Smith of Miami, FL, Kevin Smith of Stuart, FL, Michael Smith of Port St. Lucie, and Susan Montgomery of Simpsonville, SC; sisters, Norine Lordon and Catherine’s twin, Mary Jo Murrell and brothers, Terry, Brian and Chris Cauley are all of the Detroit area.
Catherine was predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Marie Cauley and her brother, Patrick Cauley.
