John Francis Oakley, age 93, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2015 at Florida Baptist Retirement Center.
John was born July 23, 1922 in Providence, Rhode Island to John and Caroline Okulowicz.
Mr. Oakley served in the United States Army.
He is survived by brother, Ben Oakley; sister, Ann Oakley; step-son, John Richard; grandchildren, Stephen Richard and Jennifer Richard; great-grandchildren, Cooper Oakley Richard, Drew Richard, and Emma Richard.
There will be a 10 a.m. Mass on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Holy Cross Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church, 500 Iris Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32963.
