John Richard Johnson,78, died on December 23, 2015 at William Childs Hospice House, in Palm Bay, FL.
He was born in Hayesville, NC and lived in Vero Beach since 2001, coming from Winston-Salem, NC.
Before retiring, he was employed as a flight attendant by Piedmont Airlines.
He attended Our Savior Lutheran Church, Vero Beach.
John is survived by his step-mother, Cathryn Johnson of Yadkinville, NC.
Graveside services and interment will be at a later date at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemons, NC.
