William Harvey Ford, 83, of Vero Beach, Florida, died Sunday, February 16, 2014 at the Indian River Medical Center.
He was born August 20, 1930 in Ferndale, West Virginia and had been a resident of Indian River County for 12 years coming from Boca Raton, FL.
Mr. Ford was a veteran of the US Air Force for 21 years retiring as Sr. Master Sargent then moving on to work as a Manager for Eastern Airlines.
He received his BA Degree from FIU.
Mr. Ford was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach where he served as an Elder and a Deacon. He was a Mason and a Shriner.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Beryl Ford of Vero Beach; daughter, Debbie Cunio of Zephyrhills, FL; son, Victor Ford of Calhoun, GA; and 8 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 1 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach.
Donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 520 Royal Palm Blvd., Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
