Dorothy Vonasek of Barefoot Bay was 93 years young, born on December 1, 1920 sadly passed away on March 13, 2014. She is survived by her son John and daughter in law Janice, her daughter Dee (Dorothy) and son in law Donald, grandchildren, Lisa and husband Scott, great- grandchildren Taigan and Conner, Robbie and Kallie and God daughter Susan. Dorothy was also loved by wonderful nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, John Vonasek. She was a very “Special Lady” who touched many lives with her beautiful heart, laughter and positive outlook on life which she shared with everyone through her Rose colored glasses. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, March 18th and also on Long Island, N.Y. at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s, 501 St. Jude Place, “Memorial Program”, Memphis, TN 38105. She will forever be in our hearts.
