Dolores May Hill, age 80, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away on October 4, 2014, at Consulate Health Care in Vero Beach. She was born on November 5, 1933, in Chicago, IL, and was preceded in death by her brother, Leroy Beldin.
Hill is survived by her sisters, Genevieve Sellers and Marcella Sellers; children, John Chezum, Jocelyn Bileddo, and Pat Moon; grandchildren, Andrea Chezum, Tonya Chezum, Diamand Gulley, Melantha Rannie, Amber Rannie, John Rivas, Holly Chezum, Amanda Lindberg, Gretchen Chezum, Lacey Chezum, Jessica Martin, and Jaclyn Moon; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Hill moved to Sebastian, FL, in 1957 from Fairfield, IA, and has been a resident of Indian River County ever since. She owned and operated Orchid Island Orchids, a Vero Beach orchid nursery and retail store, for over 20 years and retired from the business in 2007.
Hill was an active member of Faith Baptist Church in Vero Beach. A memorial service will be held in celebration of her life on Thursday, October 9, at 11:00am at Faith Baptist Church at 7966 20th Street, Vero Beach, FL, 32966.
