Dorothy S. Baker, 91, of Vero Beach, FL died December 30, 2014 at Indian River Medical Center.
She was born October 2, 1923 in Utica, New York the daughter of Martin and Mary Stomierowski and moved to Vero Beach in 1980, coming from Utica, NY.
Dorothy was a graduate of the Utica Free Academy in 1941 and was employed by the Bank of Utica for 39 years retiring in 1980. She married her husband Walter in 1941.
She was of Catholic faith.
Dorothy was predeceased by her daughter, Kimberly Silver in 2007 and husband of 67 years, Walter (Bud) J. Baker in 2010.
A gathering will be held on Monday, January 5th, 2015 from 4-6PM with a memorial service to follow at 6PM at the Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home, Vero Beach.
Interment will be held in Soldier’s Plot of the Holy Trinity Cemetery in Yorkville, NY, at a later date.
