Ann Hayward Morgan, age 91, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Grace Rehabilitation of Vero Beach.
Ann was born in Monroe, LA on November 24, 1923 to the Reverend and Mrs. Edward Farren Hayward. She graduated from Neville high School, Louisiana State University and Northeast Louisiana University with her Master�s degree. Ann taught in the Monroe City School system for many years. She lived in Monroe until 1996 when she moved to Vero Beach, FL. While in Monroe, she was a member of St. Thomas�s Episcopal Church and in Vero Beach, FL she was a member of St, Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church.
Ann was predeceased by her parents, two brothers and two sisters, her husband, W. Frank Morgan, and her daughter, Catherine (Kaki) Kolb. She is survived by her children Jeff Stone and wife, Laura, of Columbus, MS, Peggy Coats and husband, Paul, of Morgan City, LA, Farren Stone and wife, Cindi of Sunrise, FL, Robert Stone and wife, Diana, of Boulder, CO, and her stepdaughters, Mary Ann Harris and husband, Mike of Gainesville, FL, Margaret Connell and husband, Steve of Vero Beach, FL, and Martha Rankin and husband, Bill of Tampa, FL. She had eleven grandchildren, four step grandchildren and a step great grandson.
A Memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, Januray 3, 2015 at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, Vero Beach FL, at a later date. The interment will be in the columbarium at St. Augustine.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be sent to St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 475 43rd Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32968 or St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 3706 Bon Aire Drive, Monroe LA 71203.
