Barbara J. Jacques, 88, of Vero Beach, Florida, died Wednesday, January 23 at Indian River Medical Center.
She was born March 4, 1924 in Westfield, Massachusetts and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 42 years coming from N. Miami Beach, FL.
Barbara was a retired Nurse.
She was active with the Environmental Learning Center
She is survived by 2 daughters, Laurie Cooper of Vero Beach and Karen Griffin of Macon, GA., 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Jacques in 1991 and son Paul Jacques in 2008.
At the request of the family there will be no services.
