Ralph A. Roy, 84, of Vero Beach, Florida, died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Grace Rehabilitation Center of Vero Beach.
He was born October 10, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois and had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1999, coming from Northlake, IL.
Mr. Roy was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Korean Conflict.
He was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church of Vero Beach where he was active with the United Methodist Men. He was a former singer with the Notables of Vero Beach
He is survived by sons, Walter James Roy of Villa Park, IL, Clyde Emerson Roy of Vero Beach, Martin Ralph Roy of Cleves, OH, Duane Douglas Roy of Cumming, GA and Pastor Robert David Roy of Atlanta, IL; daughter, Kathryn Helen Clark of Bolingbrook, IL; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Doris Elaine Roy.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 am, Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Asbury United Methodist Church, with a memorial service to follow at 11am.
