Roger Hugh Willoughby, 87, of Vero Beach, FL passed away Sunday, November 10 at his home.
He was born in Detroit, Mi on August 28, 1932. He was the son of Gerald Woodrow Willoughby and Dorothy Agnes Willoughby (nee McEwen).
He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor pf Business Administration and received a MBA from Harvard Business School (1958). He served in the US Army in the Finance Corps.
He worked for the accounting firm of Lybrand, Ross Bros Montgomery, National Bank of Detroit, Landmark Banking Corporation, and was Chairman of Willoughby Holin Investment Counsel (FL) 1970-1997. He was a Certified Public Accountant and Charted Public Analyst.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Brown Willoughby, sons John William Willoughby (Amy), Robert McEwen Willoughby (Candice), sister Jean Ashton. Stepchildren James Mahlon Seat (Jennifer), Mary Louise Wilson (Paul), and Elizabeth Blair Moser (Edward). His grandchildren, Molly, Jessie, Penny, Kirby, Quinn, Carter, Drew, Louise, Emma, William, Darrin and Reese.
He was preceded in death by his son, James Marlow Willoughby and his brother, James Samuel Willoughby.
A private family service is planned for a later date.
