Born June 7, 1938 to the late Henry M. and Johnnie Ruth Turner in Boston, Georgia.
He attended the public schools in Boston, Georgia and Patrick Air Force Vocational Training School where he was employed for several years, until he established his own “Mr. T’s” Discount Tire Business in Gifford, Florida.
Jimmie was affiliated with Salt of the Earth Ministries in Gifford, Florida.
He is survived by three sons, Ricky, Reggie, and Mark Turner; siblings, Geraldine T. Murray of Louisville, KY, Shirley T. Lewis of Henderson, Nevada, Judith T. Ham and John Turner of Vero Beach, Florida, Floyd M. (Shirley) Turner of Detroit, Michigan, and Vivian Stonom of Largo, Florida. He also leaves to mourn his grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and many friends.
