GLORIA C. DAGOSTINO (nee VENNERI) born in Port Chester, NY, December 28, 1925, passed away in her home which she shared with her cherished daughter, Susan D’Agostino, in Vero Beach FL on Dec. 19, 2019 of natural causes just days before Christmas and her 94th birthday.

Gloria was a long-time resident of Stamford and Norwalk CT before moving to Florida in 2016. She was the daughter of the late Antonio Venneri & Bessie Lucian Venneri. Gloria was also predeceased by her older and caring brother Patrick Venneri and his loving wife, Susie Pirro Venneri, and by her step-son Joseph D’Agostino all of whom she loved very much.

Gloria is survived by her beloved daughter, Susan D’Agostino of Vero Beach FL, her son, Thomas D’Agostino and wife Monika D’Agostino of Stratford, CT, her grandson, Alexander D’Agostino and wife, Tiffany Grame-D’Agostino, great-grandchildren, Devon & Siena of Sioux Falls, SD, her granddaughter, Maureen D’Agostino-d’Armand-Offerson and husband, Paulee Offerson, great-grandson Benicio of Bellingham WA, and her grandson, Sebastian D’Agostino and wife, Heather D’Agostino of Milford CT, as well as her beloved niece Patricia Venneri-Agudow of Norwalk CT.

She also leaves behind step-son, Frank D’Agostino, his wife Bette and their children, Stephanie, Michael and Joseph of Portland OR.

Gloria grew up in Stamford CT and graduated from Stamford High School during WW II. In 1948 she married V. Patty D’Agostino of Stamford CT. They separated and divorced in 1976. Gloria had been retired for over 20 years after working many years as Executive Assistant at Darien & Norwalk based Tres-Amigos Fabrications.

Gloria cherished her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren and will be missed.

Her final wishes were to be cremated and to all the request to not mourn but to carry on and live life happily and to the fullest.
