Robert Earl Deniger, age 89, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully January 5, 2020 at the VNA Hospice House with his family by his side.

Born July 24, 1930 in Detroit, MI, he was the son of Joseph and Mary (Dasey) Deniger.

Bob graduated from Redford High School in Detroit, MI and enlisted in the US Navy during the Korean War serving in a squadron with the first Navy jet fighter planes.

For many years he worked as a lithographer in the printing industry in Providence, RI, and Manchester, NH.

In 1988, he and his wife Pat retired to Sebastian, Florida, where they lived at Reflections on the River. Bob enjoyed life to the fullest scuba diving, sailing, biking, traveling, singing, dancing and reading.

He was predeceased by his wife Patricia (Rouse) Deniger of 55 years. He is survived by two children, daughter Kristen Bean and her husband Kevin, of Ft. Lauderdale and son Mark Deniger and his wife Pamela Whitmire of Anderson, SC; three grandsons, Joshua, Kyle and Cory, three great-grandsons and a great-granddaughter; his long-time significant other and companion Melody Gabriel, his sister Blanche Graham of Michigan and several nieces and nephews

A Celebration of Life will be held Noon, Sunday, February 23rd, 2020, at Vero Beach Elks Lodge #1774, 1350 26th St., Vero Beach.

Burial will be at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH, this summer.
