Rodney B. Davis, age 64, passed away March 29,2020 at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital.  He was born January 2, 1956 in Beckley West Virginia.  He moved to Vero Beach from Cocoa, Fl in 1971.  He attended Vero Beach Senior High School and graduated in 1974.

Rodney worked in the construction industry for over 30 years.  He was hired in July 2018 at The Substance Awareness Center of IRC doing peer support for the day program.  He coached Little League Baseball, Little League Softball and Fast Pitch Travel Softball as well as being a softball coach for Vero Beach High School for over 10 years.

Rodney is survived by his wife Sandy of 44 years, sons, Kevin Davis (Vero Beach), Chris Davis (Vero Beach), and Holly Wood (Joshua) (Vero Beach), Mother, Zelda Davis (Vero Beach), Sisters, Dee Soop (White City), Teresa Goff (Jon)  (Vero Beach), Melissa Peters (Vero Beach), grandchildren- Josiah, Avery, and Ellie Wood.

Preceded in death by his Father, Maternal Grandparents, and Paternal Grandparents.

A Gathering for friends and family will begin at 10:30 a.m, Saturday, July 25, 2020 with a Memorial Service following at 11:00 a.m. at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Creamtory. Due to COVID-19, face coverings will be required.

Sandy and family. We are so sorry for your loss. Rodney was a quiet, considerate and kind man. We always knew if he was needed, he would be there if at all possible. We loved him and he is missed.
