Ellen, Erin, and David – Such a sad loss…..David gave such a good fight. His sense of humor never waned through it all. I will miss that sense of humor, we all will. He was my “best buddy”, always with some quick wit to get us through. He was a kind and gentle man. He was very loved and will be missed immensely. Auntie Ellen, Erin, and David – I am so sorry for your loss. It was always nice getting updates from my mom that despite his battle, Uncle David always maintained his sense of humor. He was truly one of the funniest people I’ve ever known. I am especially sorry I cannot travel to Florida during these strange times to celebrate his life. You’re in my thoughts at this time. David was an older cousin who I thought very highly of. He was someone I strived to emulate, particularly his athletic skills. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved joking around. I wanted his acceptance so bad that one day I met an eventual friend of mine Kevin Morrisey at David’s house for the first time. Dave suggested I punch him and I did giving poor Kevin a HUGE swollen eye. We thought that was funny until Aunt Regina came out, yelled at me to go home and tell my father what I did, and proceeded to yank David back into the house for some discipline. He will always be one of my favorites. Sorry to not be able to participate in honoring his life. Love and miss you David. Your cousin Skip.

Ellen and family, I am so sorry for your loss. It was so great to reconnect with you and David at Pam and Terry’s. Dave looked as handsome as he always did, despite his illness. His humor and twinkle in his eyes were certainly intact. I will cherish that weekend memory forever. We had a fantastic Polish brunch complete with pierogie, kielbasa, rye bread and great memories of Babci, and our fun times together in Sugar Notch when we were kids. We are so thankful that we were able to share recent memories together, and of course happy old memories too. Our thoughts are with you Auntie Ellen, Erin and David.
