Mary Grace Martinelli, was born in Bayville, Long Island on October 27, 1928 to Ignatius and Agnes Stein.

Mary Grace worked at Pan American Airlines, was an exercise instructor at McClevey’s Reducing Salon and a Nurse’s Aide at Middlesex Memorial Hospital.

When we moved to Florida in 1967, mom settled into being a housewife and mother.  As the children aged, mom would drive the school bus for St. Anastasia school delivering children to school and home. She would periodically fill in transporting different sports teams to their destinations and back.

Mom was an award deserving wife, mother, and a friend to all, always in the right place when someone needed help.

Mom was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church and then St. John of the Cross and a daily communicant for many years.

Mom is survived by one of 6 brothers and sisters, Bill Stein of New City, New York.  Four wonderful children Frankie, Johnny, Suzy (Marygrace Sexton) and Billy Martinelli.  Three daughters in law, Anne, Bonnie, Joan and one son in law, Bobby (Robert Sexton) all incredibly devoted to mom.  Mom helped raise 15 outstanding grandchildren, 4 wonderful great grandchildren and other children, too numerous to count, that needed parental guidance, just a friend or a place to stay.

A Memorial Mass for Mrs. Martinelli will be held 9:45 a.m., Thursday, August 6, 2020 at St. John of the Cross, Vero Beach.

Memorial contributions will be greatly appreciated at Care Net Pregnancy Center of Indian River County, 1503 24th Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32960.

Arrangements by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.

May God Bless You All!!!
