Wanted to let you know how sorry we were to hear about your Dad. Carl was a nice guy who would help you if you needed it; he was a people person with a good sense of humor and a man who loved his daughter with all his heart!! He was a good athlete and had the looks and the “Vette” to complete the package. Fly free Carl, we love you! Susan & Roy Widjeskog

Carl was a very honorable and proud man. He also was appreciative of all his care givers. He had a kind caring heart. I am sad to see him go, but loved being his nurse.

Reading Susan’s comment above made me remember when, with a hurricane on the way, I did not have the tools or the know-how to board up my windows with plywood. When Carl heard this, he hurried over to my house and got the boards up. I never asked him to, but he knew we needed it done so he did it so we could be safe. I was so impressed and grateful. He was a great guy, and I will miss seeing him at the many holiday dinners we shared at Stacy’s house. Rest in Peace, Carl.

So sorry to hear of this loss. Carl was a good guy. I had not known him very long but in the short time that we did I found Carl to be a happy, kind man. He was always smiling when I saw him. Prayers to the family.
