Irene Susan Morrison, 86 years old, passed away on September 24, 2018 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, Florida.
She was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on August 21, 1932 and lived her early years in Linden, New Jersey with her grandparents, Paul and Mary Szeman. She lived most of her life in Bridgewater, New Jersey where she raised her family and retired in Vero Beach, Florida with her husband, John.
Irene was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She loved to cook, bake, crochet and play bingo at church with her friends.
She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church.
Survivors include:
Daughter, Shirley Morgan and husband, Roger, of Ardmore, Oklahoma
Son, John Morrison and wife, Allison ,of Vero Beach, Florida
Son, Ronald Morrison of Vero Beach, Florida
Sister, Arlene Staubach and husband, Ron.
Eleven Grandchildren: Bonnie Hoyle and husband, Cliff, of Moore, Oklahoma ;Sharon Wells and husband , Branden, of Ocala, Florida; Lisa Kutchman of Austin, Texas; Rachel Morrison and Hannah Morrison of Vero Beach, Florida; Patrick Morgan and wife, Sim, of Piedmont, Oklahoma; Kimberlee Calhoun and husband, Michael, of Durant, Oklahoma; Amanda Morgan of Paul’s Valley, Oklahoma; Alexis Hasselbrink and husband, Kollin ,of Vero Beach, Florida; Cameron Hueneke and wife, Emily, of Vero Beach, Florida; Zachary Rubino of Vero Beach, Florida and sixteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband, John Carol Morrison; her parents, Ann and Steve Csepela and her infant great- granddaughters, Rilee and Katelyn Hoyle.
An inurnment will be held 10:45 a.m., Monday, October 1, 2018 at South Florida VA National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL.
