Jamie Suzanne Young, age 40, of Vero Beach, passed away Monday evening, October 29, 2018 at her home.
She was born in Des Moines, Iowa on April 19, 1978.
Jamie was a member of King’s Baptist Church, Vero Beach.
She had attended Liberty University, of Lynchburg, VA and Clearwater Christian, of Clearwater, FL. Jamie had a beautiful voice and had earned a scholarship at Liberty as a vocalist.
She homeschooled both her children, enjoyed ministering to people, meeting the needs of her family, and spending quiet time with Jesus. When she could no longer walk, Jamie was a blessing to others on FaceBook; she loved to minister and was an avid witness to others, sharing her faith in her Lord and Savior.
Survivors include her husband, Joshua Young; son, Benjamin Young; daughter, Lily Young; parents, Gary and Gina Axtell; brother, Josh (JoAnn) Axtell; sister-in-law, Lee Ann Axtell; nephews, Hunter, Hayden, & Holden Axtell; and nieces, Erin, Morgan, & Caitlin Creel.
Jamie was predeceased by her younger brother, Justin Axtell.
A Visitation will be held 11 a.m. – noon, Saturday, November 3, 2018 at King’s Baptist Church, with a Funeral Service to follow at noon.
