It was a pleasure to know Mike. We treasure a memory of playing golf with Mike at Kilspindie Golf Club in Scotland in a 50 mph wind- his face was a sight to behold. We both send our condolences

In 1962, I was a geology major in Champaign-Urbana, IL. Dr. Wahl gave great lectures, led many field trips, and set up Friday afternoon classes with professors who were teaching specific areas of interest. ….Also, Dr. Wahl had a great sense of humor. There was never a dull moment!
