Martha Abigail Velardo, age 96, of Vero Beach, passed away January 22, 2019.
She was born November 29, 1922 in Worcester, MA, to parents, Elmer LeRoy and Martha Bleuitt Webster.
Martha had retired after 37 years as a stitcher and then a supervisor with the manufacturing company, Dubrow Bravman Corp., of Boston.
Following retirement, she moved to Vero Beach where she resided for more than 20 years. Martha loved playing Bingo and helping to organize activities for fellow residents.
She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and enjoyed making crafts, quilts, and baby blankets for fundraisers and donating to various shelters in the community.
She also volunteered with the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office, helping with filing and other duties in the office.
Martha will be fondly remembered by her niece, Debra Wieser of Houston, TX, extended family members, and dear friends.
She was predeceased by her husband of 30 years, Guy A. Velardo.
