David J. Weissberg, 85, passed away on January 15, 2019 in Vero Beach, Florida.
He is survived by his loving wife, Diana Rossi and his three children, Sue Weiss of Crozet, Virginia, Jerry Weissberg and wife Kathy, of Columbus, Ohio, and Stephanie White of Crozet, Virginia. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alyson, Stephen, Timothy, Owen, Savannah, Joseph, and Sylvia along with several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his dog Mika, his companion of the last 11 years.
David was born on June 18, 1933, outside of Pittsburgh, PA to the late Samuel and Annabelle Weissberg. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, David started his career at Cameradio in Pittsburgh. Subsequent steps in his career included selling high quality furniture and later, real estate. He became an owner of a motel in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida with Diana which was a wonderful chapter in his career.
The family would like to thank Howard Bartee and Dorrie Brown from A Moment’s Notice along with the other caregivers that came into David’s life in the past two years.
The family will hold a memorial service in the spring in celebration of David’s life.
