Walter and my Uncle (Bob) became friends while “roommates” in an assisted living. (We lost my uncle in January.) Sincere condolences to Walter’s son Don and other family members

Sincere condolences. When Walter was very active on Facebook, he was able to connect with many extended family members, and he was so kind. A very sweet man. My paternal grandmother was Catherine Robinson White, and Walter’s father (Walter Sr.) was her cousin. My dad could recall Walter’s parents; he told us that Walter Sr could communicate as well as anyone despite being deaf. Even though Walter was virtually silent for the past couple of years, I do miss his posts! Many were very funny. I’m sure his passing leaves a hole in the lives of his immediate family and his friends. I believe he was able to touch more people than might be thought. Walter seems to have had a very interesting life filled with the love of his family. Along with a long life, what else could be asked?
