Alexander “Alex” Peter Curtis, 34, of Vero Beach passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017.
Alex was born in Park Ridge Illinois in 1982. Alex graduated from Sebastian River High School in the International Baccalaureate Program in 2001 and attended the University of Florida.
He is survived by his parents, Ned & Carmen Curtis of Vero Beach, sisters Stephanie Yousefzadeh (Jonson) of Austin, Texas, Laura Wilsnack (Robert) of Pace, Florida, grandmother Mary Cucuz of Vero Beach, Florida and his beloved yellow lab, Buddy.
Alex was a truly wonderful son in every way. He was kind, gentle and loved his family very much. He will be dearly missed.
At the request of the family, local services will be private. Burial will be next to his beloved grandfather at St. Sava’s Serbian Orthodox Cemetery & Monastery located in Libertyville, IL on Saturday, December 9, 2017.
Family suggests donations be made to the Mental Health Association of Indian River County, 820 37th Place, Vero Beach, Florida 32960.
