On December 17, 2024, Anna Lee (Squires) Grant passed on. She was surrounded by her husband and both her children also present was her granddaughter, Rachel.

Anna Lee was born in Miami to Arthur Lee and Mary Edith Squires on June 15, 1942. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She mothered any who needed and wanted her care.

Anna Lee graduated from Edison High School in 1960. She married her high school sweetheart Michael C. Grant (Mickey) on December 9, 1961. She and Mickey remained married for just over 63 years. Only death parted them.

Anna Lee and Mickey resided in S.W. Ranches, Broward County, Fl. for about 45 years until building in Crawfordville, Fl. About five years ago they moved to Fellsmere, Fl. to be with family.

During retirement both Anna and Mickey loved the RV life. They traveled throughout North America to include three separate trips from Florida to Alaska and back.

Mike, Mike Jr, Suzanne and family..Our hearts go out to all of you. Anna Lee was loved by so many and will be sorely missed. The best way I can honor and cherish her memory will be to continue making her pretzels for family and friends (12 lbs this holiday). Our thoughts and prayers are with you. So sorry to hear of her passing. On a trip to Florida at Christmas time many years ago, we were warmly welcomed into Anna Lee and Mickey’s home. She treated us like family, and gave our 7-year-old daughter a Garfield pillow, which she loved. We will never forget her kindness and generosity. Her laughter was contagious. Our condolences to all of her loved ones.

During the times I spent with Mrs. Grant I experienced a welcoming smile and cheerful conversations. I always walked away with a peaceful feeling. Knowing she with God and her friends and family that preceded her leaves with that same sense of peace.
